LUCAMA — Stacy Chambers Phaby, 36, passed away Sunday with her loving family by her side. A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy. The Rev. Dan Capps will officiate.
The family will receive friends after the service and other times at 5009 Woodrow Road, Sims.
Stacy is survived by her much loved children, Christian and Kamryn Phaby; parents, Kimberly Bubb (Jesse) of Sims, Richard Wilhelm (Marci) of Pennsylvania, Marvin Chamber of Lucama and Gene Prince of Nashville; sister, Amanda Chambers; niece, Brynna of Zebulon; grandfather, Richard Bubb Sr. (Margie) of Pennsylvania; aunt, Micki Weaver (Guy) of Pennsylvania, who dedicated countless hours of their time to Stacy throughout her life; numerous additional aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the United States.
Stacy was preceded in death by her sister, Heather Rachel Chambers; and her grandmother, Carol Bubb.
Stacy’s life was dedicated to her children. She also enjoyed spending time with friends, going to the beach and traveling to Pennsylvania. Her homemade salsa was the best and requested by all. Stacy graduated from Southern Nash High School and she attended Barton College. She worked many years for Wilson County and later was the office manager of SHAC Services.
