Shizue Parker

Shizue Fujii Parker, 79, of Cary passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
Shizue was born Jan. 20, 1931, in Oga City, Japan, to Harukichi and Takeno Fujii. Shizue is survived by her children, Janet (Scott) Simmons of Garner, Howard (Sheila) Parker of Apex, and Nelson (Marjorie) Parker of Lutherville, Md.; former husband, William F. Parker of Frederica, Del.; two sisters, Chiseko Yoshinaga and Reiko Ishizawa of Japan; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, March 20, 2010 with a visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St. (N.C. 55), Apex, NC 27502.
