LUCAMA — Shelby Glover Edwards, 72, passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at Little Rock Church Original Free Will Baptist Church, 6115 Little Rock Church Road, Lucama. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Dr. DeWayne Eakes will officiate.

The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy.

Shelby was a loving Christian mother and grandmother that attended Little Rock Original Free Will Baptist Church. She loved flowers and enjoyed working with them. Shelby also loved her staff and patients at Wilmed Nursing Center.

Shelby is survived by her son, William Craig Edwards and wife, Linda, of Smithfield; her daughter, Kimberly E. Moser and husband, Dr. Eric Moser, of High Point; her granddaughter, Danielle Mellissa Moore and husband, J.P., of Princeton; her three grandsons, Andrew J. Rose of Clayton, Joseph Tyler Moser and Joshua Todd Moser, both of High Point; her great-grandson, William Bryce Moore of Princeton; her sister, Juanita Morris and husband, Luther, of Coats; brother-in-law, Douglas Edwards and wife, Betty Ann, of Rocky Mount; and her nephew, Wayne Edwards of Rocky Mount.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Asher Edwards; and her daughter, Sherry Lynn Edwards.
