U.S. Veteran Richard Norris Lucas Jr., 56, of 3206 Brentwood Drive N. died July 19, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Durham. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at Browns Chapel FWB Church, 1507 Hadley St., at 2 p.m. with Elder Greg Foushee officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at all times at the residence, where they will assemble on Wednesday at 1 p.m. for the processional to the church.
