BAILEY — May Z Jenkins, 86, passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted in her hometown of Talladega, Ala. Arrangements are by Usrey Funeral Home.
May Z passed away peacefully at home in her sleep following a lengthy illness. She was loved by all and will be truly missed.
May Z is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Powell and husband, Robert, of Bailey; her granddaughters, Cheryl Powell McCoy of Raleigh, and Cindy Powell Stelle of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard R. Jenkins; son, Kelly B. Jenkins; granddaughter, Angela Powell; grandson, Bobby Hubbard; and her parents, Robert and Minnie Bean Tompkins.
