[1]Luther Pittman, 83, of 4912 F. Webb Lake Road, Wilson, N.C., died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Wilson Medical Center. Family and friends will gather for a memorial service Tuesday, July 7, 2009, from 6-7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 Tarboro St. W.
Pittman served his country in the United States Army and was a proudly retired veteran of World War II.
He was also retired from S.T. Wooten Company, Inc.
Luther Pittman was married to his late wife, Betty Pittman, of Wilson, N.C., and is survived by one daughter, Selma Pittman of Raleigh, N.C.
