Peggy Phillips Aycock, 67, of Bailey died Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. The Rev. Rodney Walls will officiate.
The family will receive friends 6–8 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
She was an area coordinator with the Coastal Carolina Girl Scout Council and was a member of Noble’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Aycock is survived by her husband, John Aycock; a daughter, Elizabeth Winstead and husband, Alan, of Wilson; three sons, John Charles Aycock and wife, Melody, and Bobby Lee Aycock, all of Wilson, and James Aycock and wife, Darla, of Bailey; five grandsons, Bruce Aycock, Timothy Aycock, David Winstead, Jonathan Aycock and Christopher Aycock; three sisters, Edith Howell, Phyllis Bissette and Dora Carter, all of Bailey; and a brother, Henry Phillips of Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Lee Phillips; and a grandson, Blake Edward Aycock.
