Marion “Buck” Edward Frazier, 71, of 1607 Richardson-Bass Road, Kenly, died Friday at the VA Medical Center, Durham. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Atkins Memorial Tabernacle, 6740 Rock Ridge-Sims Road, Sims. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, Veterans Section, in Wilson.
Mr. Frazier was born July 5, 1941, in the Johnston County community of Micro to Mack and Sadie High Frazier.
Precious memories are shared by his wife, Patricia Howell Frazier of the home; one daughter, Tammy Coleman (Joe) of Bailey; three sons, Marion Frazier (Beverly) of Rocky Mount, Chris Frazier (Connie) of Lucama, and Eric Frazier of Kenly; two sisters, Marilyn Rice (Greg) and Sylvia Frazier; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a hosts of other relatives and friends.
The body may be viewed Tuesday from 2 to 7:45 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6:45 to 7:45, and at other times he family will receive friends at the residence, where they will assemble one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
