MIDDLESEX — Mable Manning Price, 83, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted at Union Chapel Church Saturday, 2 p.m., with the Rev. Roy Jernigan and the Rev. Ed Heffington officiating. Interment will follow at Lee’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Maryland Price.
She is survived by nine daughters, Bertha Brantley and Brenda Sanders, both of Bailey, Clara Stocks and husband, Tommy, of Farmville, Nora Jordan and husband, Jay, of Raleigh, Virginia Williamson and husband, John, of Wilson, Lois McKenzie of Sims, Rose Lowery and husband, Todd, of Bailey, Lou Hawley and Mary Lucas and husband, Dennis, all of Middlesex; three sons, Keith Price and wife, Christine, of Raleigh, Charles Price of Wilson, James Price and wife, Connie, of Zebulon; one sister, Blanche Price of Middlesex; three brothers, Ray Manning and wife, Dortha and Arthur Manning and wife, Panettie, all of Middlesex, Howard Manning and wife, Sarah, of Bailey; 28 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Shingleton Funeral Home Friday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 and other times at 5125 Stony Hill Church Road, Bailey.
