Joseph George Skelly, 84, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 plus years, Doris Edna Skelly; and sister, Betty Skelly McNamara.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Brooks and husband, Timothy, of Bailey; son, Joseph Skelly and wife, Judy, of New Fairfield, Conn.; four grandchildren, Christina Brooks of Bailey, Joseph Skelly and wife, Kate, of Hopkinton, Mass., Ryan Skelly of New Milford, Conn., and Mike Skelly of New Fairfield, Conn.; and one great-grandchild, Julia Skelly of Hopkinton, Mass.
Joseph was a veteran of the Korean War and was self employed in the carpet cleaning business.
The family will have a celebration of his life at a later time.
