Jimmy H. Snipes, 70, passed away peacefully on the Lord’s day of rest. He was surrounded by the only people that ever mattered to him in his life — his children and grandchildren.
Our daddy was a truckdriver for over 50 years and was accident-free. He always said he was a “professional driver.” Daddy was always trying to teach and help people learn.Therefore his body was donated to ECU Brody School of Medicine.
He is survived by his daughters, Margie and husband, Tommy Norfleet, and Wendy and Terry Boykin; son, Cheyenne and wife, Frances Snipes; grandchildren, Brandon Boykin, Tyler Boykin, Bailey Norfleet and Morgan Norfleet.
A private service was held at the time of death. The family thanks friends and co-workers for their support and love at this extremely sad time.
