James “Jimmy” Williams, 85, of 212 Thurston Drive, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, noon, at St. John AME Zion Church, 119 E. Pender St. The Rev. Janice Cox will officiate. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Church Cemetery, Snow Hill.
The family will assemble Saturday, 11:15 a.m., at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson in preparation for the funeral service.
