    She is survived by a son, Gurney Davis of Wilson and a sister, Betty Davis and husband, Harold, of Seletz, Ore.

    Mr. George Henry Mobley, age 87, of Wilson, formerly of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. Mr. Mobley was born in Wilson County on July 5, 1922, to George Nicholas and Elizabeth Lamm Mobley.
