Charles Marion Lucas, 77, of Wilson died Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The Dr. Rev. DeWayne Eakes will officiate.
The family will receive friends other times at 2114 Dayton Drive S., Wilson.
Charles is survived by his wife, Dorothy Vick Lucas; daughter, Terry Lucas McKeel and husband, Danny, of Wilson; son, Charles Ricky Lucas and wife, Hope, of Wilson; granddaughters, Heather M. Hinson and husband, Rick, of Raleigh and Haylan Lucas of Wilson; grandson, Landon Lucas of Wilson; great-granddaughter, Alice-Kate Hinson of Raleigh; brother, Bobby Lucas of Lucama; and a nephew, Keith Lucas and wife, Susan, of Zebulon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Everette Marion and Virginia Mae Johnson Lucas; daughter, Sharon Lucas; and a brother, Douglas Lucas.
