MIDDLESEX — Betsy Holland Pearce, 73, died Sunday. A memorial funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, 6 p.m., at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy., Wilson. Pastor Robby Piper Jr. will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at 12860 Creekridge Drive, Middlesex and 9779 N. Nash St., Middlesex. Surviving are her daughters, Debra Lewis and husband, Carlton, and Cathy Epps and husband, Charles, all of Middlesex; three granddaughters, Jennifer Tedder and husband, Chris, of Spring Hope, Tonya Cawhern and husband, Jason, of Middlesex, and Tammy Narron and husband, Jason, of Kenly; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Holland and wife, Pat, of Zebulon; a stepdaughter, Julie Mullen of Middlesex; and a stepson, Grant L. Pearce of Middlesex.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Gene “Doc” Pearce; a grandson, Carlton Bruce Lewis Jr.; and 11 brothers and sisters.
