Ann Marie Townsend Sasser, 74, passed away Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Ernestine Townsend; and son, Kenneth Ray Sasser.
She is survived by her husband, Crawford Sasser of the home; daughter, Patricia Etheridge and husband, Tim, of Lucama; son, Brian Sasser and wife, Nancy, of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Sean Sasser and Marissa Sasser; stepgrandchildren, Leslie Bailey and Jennifer Etheridge.
A graveside service will be held Monday, 11 a.m., in Black Creek Town Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Futrell officiating. Other times the family will receive friends at 5024 Skyland Loop, Wilson.
