STANTONSBURG — Albert Walston, 87, passed away Friday. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday in Stantonsburg Cemetery. The Rev. Leo Bennett will officiate.
The family will receive friends 5 – 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy., Wilson, and other times at 7748 Millrock Loop, Stantonsburg.
Albert is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Radford of Stantonsburg; son, Kenneth Ray Walston of Stantonsburg; granddaughters, Terry Phillips of Middlesex, Pam Radford and Tammy Hathaway, both of Wilson; three great-granddaughters, one great-grandson; and two great-great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Pearl Walston; and his parents, Rennie Walston and Betty Robbins Walston.
